Easy To
Install - Much lighter than glass. Can
be cut, drilled and worked using conventional
tools. Installers should allow about 1/8"
edge clearance when framing to provide for expansion
and contraction of the panel. Edge engagement
around the panel perimeter must be a minimum of
3/8" for spans under 24", and increased
proportionately up to 1" for a 4' x 10' panel
for exterior applications. Any quality construction
grade silicone sealant may be used for edge sealing
without fear of leakage.

can withstand impact from such objects as projected
stones, bricks and bottles without shattering. This
proves invaluable in reducing costs of both material
replacement and additional installations.
EXCELLENT WEATHERABILITY
- Impervious to temperature change and all forms
of precipitation and soot, Krinklglas® doesn't
deform under heat like a thermoplastic, nor crack
under extreme cold conditions. The detrimental effects
of sunlight exposure, yellowing and color fading
are minimized with UV inhibitors.
ENHANCED PRIVACY,
SECURITY - Krinklglas® Translucent
panels let light through without glare, yet provide
a special privacy and extra visual protection not
available with transparent materials.
LOW MAINTENANCE
- Chemical and abrasion resistant to most acids,
mild alkalies and petroleum-based solvents, Krinklglas®
can be used in most corrosive environments. Its
textured surfaces "hide" scratches and
mars from knives and other sharp objects and panels
are easily cleaned of dirt and graffiti using ordinary
cleaners or common solvents.
